It was with great pleasure that I recently visited Sandhurst School to congratulate them on their committment to the Summer Reading Challenge. The Summer Reading Challenge is a massive national promotion of reading for 4-11 year olds that runs in libraries during the summer. Sandhurst School took up the challenge with more enthusiasm than any other school in Lewisham and that's why I went there to deliver some new books for their library.
