Lewisham Honours Returning Soldiers | |
It was an honour and a privilege to meet some of our brave servicemen and women recently returned from active service. The reception, held at the Civic Suite in Catford on 3 December, was hosted by the Mayor and the borough’s Representative Deputy Lieutenant, Lt Colonel Conrad Graham.
The Mayor presented medals to some of the soldiers in recognition of their recent active service. It was humbling and inspiring in equal measure to meet so many people prepared to give so much of themselves for their country. | |
