Bridget Prentice MP is very keen to promote the review that the Council is currently undertaking of the Safer Neighbourhood Police Teams in Lewisham.

This gives everyone in Lewisham the opportunity to make comments to the Metropolitan Police and the Mayor about crime and policing in their local area.Copies of the survey are available at libraries and on the Council website, and Bridget encourages everyone in Lewisham East to make their contribution.

Every ward in Lewisham now has its own local police team – specifically dedicated to one area – and this provides a familiar police in the community to increase local safety.Soon each safer neighbourhood team will have its own ward panel – which local residents can join – and this is intended to assist them in identifying local priorities.
